About Me

My name is Amy Johnson. I live in Greenville, SC with my husband, Dan. We have two boys, Jacob who is 14 years old and Chris who is 12 years old...and our dog, Kebo. I teach fifth grade and enjoy working with children of all ages. I have always loved words. I love reading them, speaking them, studying them, and writing them. I have always been drawn to reading and writing. I think that is why I have a love for literacy and teaching. Most people know that my love for reading, writing, and children have driven me towards my career in teaching. I also have two other dreams that those who know me well may know, but they are to write a book and to be a mother. While I realize both are somewhat out of my control, I feel like God has given me the desire and a motivation to begin moving towards them both. I created this blog as an outlet to share some of my words with others. I hope you will enjoy the words I share here.
